Ohio Burn Unit starts the party with a flametastic performance

MUSICAL PERFORMANCES:

The Brick Road Ramblers a four-member string band that will kick off this storytelling event with a banjo-driven old-time sound.

Smokin Fez Monkeys  is a modern jug band that puts the fun back into music.  It’s a sort of a ragtime-cartoon-Vaudeville-circus-hobo-gypsy-jazz thing, so prepare to clap your hands, stomp your feet, and sing along!

Hey Mavis  this trio finds the fine threads within stories of all types–from the fantastic to everyday–and weaves them into “captivating musical journeys”

Brother Wolf  will delight with a musical mix of  Dirges, Celtic, and Folk – you won’t want to miss this talented trio.

Moustache Yourself! Your going to love this Gypsy-Jazz ensemble!

Trepanning Trio an instrumental, avant-chamber ensemble which performs and records using classical, traditional and handmade instruments. Come share their passion for sound, texture, rhythm, melody and experimentation.

Ashley Brooke Toussant  She’s back with a new set of sweet sounds.

Fast Molasses These eclectic musical artisans put a twist on everyday storytelling.

Kate Westfall  will delight the audience again with a magical layering of music, stories, and visuals with her

“a cappella electronica”.

Jeff Bell more fantastic acoustic guitar playing from this talented Mansfield musician!

The Northern Junkyard  Jeff Bell, and Kate Westfall team up to bring an old  fashioned porch stompin’ folk sound.

Zach Music this Akron-based alt-rock singer/songwriter is sure to put a smile on your face as he inter weaves his melodic melodies.

Pinch and Squeal vaudeville style music and theatrics.

As It Is will jazz things up with an electric Fusion combo from this talented group of University musicians.

UA African Drumming Ensemble will close out the night in a grand finale of drumming.

• Stilt walkers; Julia Pankhurst and Brian Gardener will be walking on high through the night.

• The Jasmine Dragons will float through the air in a spectacular aerial Fabrics extravaganza!

Under the big tops: hennah artist NICOLE RETTMAN, fortune telling& costuming by INDA BLATCH GEIB, LEONA will read between the lines of your handwriting, while MASON SHUMAN paints faces, KAFKA VODKA reads taor cards, and MORGAN CSEJTEY twirls whimsical balloons.
Treats from the URBEAN CAFE. KAFKA VODKA will be peddling her whimsical costumes/clothing from her wunderkammer, or room of wonders! JODY HAWK will be photographing attendees in her smoke and mirrors tent and shirts from PSYCHO REINDEER – special for the event.
